Students were asked to reflect on their daily routine and habits. Student identified and wrote about healthy and unhealthy habits they may follow throughout a day, on a T chart and illustrated the same in their journals. Students were assessed on their first line of inquiry ‘Daily habits and routines' through a formative assessment. Students interviewed other students/staff members in the school community to find out about the various health factors and healthy habits and discussed the outcome of the same in their classes.

Students were divided into 2 groups and formed two concentric circles. Those in the inner circle said a phonogram and the student standing opposite in the outer circle said a word starting with that phonogram and vice-versa. This was followed by revisiting different vocabulary words with pl, cl, sl, bl phonograms. Students read ORT books according to their level and were assessed through a rubric. They played the sight word bingo, wherein the facilitator said the sight word aloud and the students have to colour the sight word with specific colours. Students were assessed on their spellings through a spell bee.

Prior knowledge assessment of place value concept was done through ‘golden bead material’. To consolidate on the concept of place value, bundling and grouping strategies were used with golden bead material. This was followed by each child representing two numbers using place value blocks. To further enhance understanding each student was assigned different numbers and they represented them using place value blocks in their process journal. Students were assessed on their understanding of numbers through a formative assessment.

During their Hindi classes, they watched a video ‘बढ़ने का रहस्य' and attempted a ‘listen and answer’ activity. They also recited a poem ‘सेब है फलों में सब से न्यारा'.

Solfege and sargam for Vocal Warm-ups were practiced. Students were provoked to inquire about the lifestyle of a musician to lead a healthy life, They discussed the kind of food the musicians consume and the regime they should follow to be able to sing well. An activity for enhanced listening skills was conducted in the class where the students were played various sounds of the musical instruments which they identified along with their names. They also inquired into the category of various musical instruments. They also sang a motivational song as a group.
